The Futuregrowth Al Baraka Equity Fund is a fully balanced equity portfolio consisting of share investments across all sectors of the JSE.

The distinguishing feature of the Futuregrowth Al Baraka Equity Fund is that no investments will be made in liquor, tobacco or gambling related industries and that no interest-bearing securities other than those required to satisfy statutory requirements will be held. Great care has been taken in the research and construction of this portfolio to ensure that these criteria have been complied with at all times.

The Futuregrowth Al Baraka Equity Fund will appeal to those investors who, for moral or religious reasons, wish to exclude the abovementioned sectors of the economy from their investment portfolio. An investment term of at least three to five years is recommended for this portfolio.
